In 2014, I was commissioned by a local programmer to create a soundtrack for a space shooter PC game that was to be named DARK CARGO. I created ten songs, all of which were approved. Unfortunately, the game went into limbo, and was eventually abandoned completely.

The ten songs here could be considered demos, as I was really only creating scratch tracks with the intention of re-recording things later. That never happened, and as a result the mix could be better. But hey, it's free.

Although they were created in 2014, these songs serve as a glimpse into the roots of my making electronic music... this is the kind of music I was writing and performing in the late 90's/early 00's, which is partially why I was asked to write these songs. The programmer(s) had a very specific sound in mind and I was more than happy to oblige. It's a definite departure from my more usual dark ambient/industrial work, as you will notice rather quickly.

With the exception of guitar, no hardware was used, only soft synths. Drums were programmed in an ancient (and pirated) copy of Fruity Loops (long before it became FL Studio) and everything was recorded and mixed using Cool Edit Pro 2.0. Extremely minimal post-production has been applied using Adobe Audition CC.
